This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
• Establish, configure, test, and uphold infrastructure across development, staging, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code by adhering to established modules, conventions, and review processes.
• Assist in the configuration, maintenance, release preparation, and deployment activities of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Investigate incidents by gathering logs and monitoring evidence, conducting initial triage, and documenting resolutions.
• Set up monitoring checks and alerts.
• Engage in backup and recovery procedures.
• Adhere to security best practices, including least-privilege access management and secure secrets handling.
• Keep infrastructure documentation, deployment instructions, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks up to date.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, security specialists, and operations teams.
• Continuously enhance technical skills through mentoring, certifications, and active participation in projects.
• A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, services, packages, and system metrics.
• Comprehension of CI/CD principles with practical exposure to GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Familiarity with containerization concepts and practical experience with container images and runtime environments.
• Scripting experience with Shell and either Python or PowerShell.
• General understanding of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and DevOps principles.
• Basic understanding of databases, monitoring, logging, backup, storage, and security concepts.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, TLS, and secure secrets management.
• Experience using AI assistants responsibly while validating outputs and maintaining data security standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English at least at an Upper-Intermediate level.
