This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
• Establish, configure, test, and maintain infrastructure across development, staging, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code by adhering to established modules, conventions, and review processes.
• Assist in the configuration, maintenance, release preparation, and deployment activities of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Investigate incidents by gathering logs and monitoring evidence, performing initial triage, and documenting solutions.
• Set up monitoring checks and alerts.
• Engage in backup and recovery procedures.
• Adhere to security best practices, including least-privilege access management and secure secrets handling.
• Maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployment instructions, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, security specialists, and operations teams.
• Continuously enhance technical skills through mentoring, certifications, and participation in projects.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with a public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, services, packages, and system metrics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and practical experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Knowledge of containerization concepts and practical experience with container images and runtime environments.
• Experience with scripting in Shell and either Python or PowerShell.
• General understanding of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and DevOps principles.
• Basic knowledge of databases, monitoring, logging, backup, storage, and security concepts.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, TLS, and secure secrets management.
• Experience utilizing AI assistants responsibly while validating outputs and upholding data security standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Minimum Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
• Practical experience with Terraform or Ansible in production settings.
• Familiarity with centralized logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
• Exposure to GitOps practices.
• Understanding of AI/LLM services or vector databases in infrastructure-related contexts.
• Relevant cloud or Linux certifications.
• Strong desire to learn and advance within a professional DevOps environment.
