Junior Data Product & AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with internal Product and Business teams to connect their data with the central Data Platform.

• Assist in integrating new data sources.

• Aid in migration processes to the AWS-based platform.

• Establish data access and infrastructure components, including IAM roles, Lake Formation, Airflow connections, and secrets.

• Ensure data quality and consistency between source systems and the Data Platform.

• Contribute to enhancing the Developer Experience, such as through AI-assisted development tools and local development environments.

• Foster knowledge sharing and support the growth of data expertise across the organization.

• Evolve into a key point of contact for data-driven inquiries and subjects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Initial hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Platforms, acquired through professional roles, student positions, internships, or personal projects.

• Fundamental understanding of data modeling and structuring.

• Basic proficiency in SQL.

• Initial familiarity with dbt, Airflow, and Git.

• Genuine interest in cloud technologies.

• Basic comprehension of data access along with role and permission concepts is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for agile methodologies.

• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Openness to taking on responsibilities and pursuing professional development.

• No specific educational background or degree is explicitly required.
