AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain internal AI agents and intelligent search solutions utilizing organizational documents and knowledge.

• Streamline repetitive business processes by employing agentic systems that perform multi-step autonomous actions across internal tools.

• Enhance back-office platforms like Monday.com, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Ironclad, and other SaaS tools through tailored integrations.

• Automate tasks such as document review, comparison, summarization, data extraction, classification, and creation.

• Create templates, prompts, and workflows for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, reports, and presentations.

• Design and implement lightweight internal applications, web tools, and scripts.

• Identify high-impact automation opportunities and assess AI features during the software procurement process.

• Evaluate when to develop custom tools versus acquiring existing solutions.

• Establish reusable AI infrastructure, tool-calling patterns, permissions, logging, security frameworks, evaluation methods, and organizational AI best practices.

• Collaborate with business teams and leadership to quickly prototype effective solutions.

• Train, assist, and empower employees to utilize AI tools efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with contemporary LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.).

• Familiarity with LLM APIs, function/tool calling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and current AI agent frameworks.

• Strong expertise in Python and/or TypeScript.

• Experience with REST APIs, relational/vector databases, SaaS API integrations, and modern cloud or containerized deployment workflows.

• Proven capability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver functional software solutions independently.

• Excellent collaboration skills to convert ambiguous business needs into actionable technical solutions.

• Ability to train non-technical users on new tools.

• Successful completion of employment verification and background checks following the acceptance of an offer.

• Verification of job titles and employment dates with two prior employers.
