Junior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct the standardization of products and branches, relating sell-out data to the corporate catalog.

• Validate information weekly alongside Key Account Managers (KAMs).

• Maintain and update the branch catalog by gathering information for new entries.

• Ensure the completeness, consistency, and uniqueness of data before integrating it into the catalog.

• Execute the addition and updates of branches directly in the database after completing validations.

• Generate and sustain automated reports to monitor the standardization process.

• Document processes, criteria, and tools utilized in the standardization operations.

• Participate in Data Quality and Data Governance activities.

• Identify inconsistencies or potential improvements in processes and suggest alternatives.

• Collaborate with Data teams and business areas following established processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced student or graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Computing, or related fields.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in data analysis.

• Knowledge of Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, including queries and validation of unique IDs.

• Proficiency in Excel, including filters, pivot tables, and formulas.

• Experience or knowledge of Business Intelligence tools for report generation.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments and technical tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and rigor in process execution.

• Ability to follow procedures and validate work before delivering results.

• Responsibility and autonomy to track tasks without constant supervision.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technology teams.

• Proactivity and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Previous experience with Data Quality will be a plus.

• Knowledge of Data Governance or data cataloging and standardization processes will be a plus.

• Experience working with large volumes of information will be a plus.
