Junior Data Engineer, Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric

• Execute and oversee ad hoc data production workflows

• Guarantee and enhance data quality on an ongoing basis

• Supervise and ensure the integrity of current data pipelines and rule-driven data processes

• Create and maintain solutions leveraging Python and PySpark

• Participate in the growth of cloud and data infrastructure

• Manage and further enhance existing Power BI dashboards

• Generate and automate standardized reports via Power Automate

• Assist in big data analyses using SQL

• Perform ad hoc analyses

• Develop dashboards aimed at monitoring data quality

• Visualize key performance indicators and analytical outcomes using Power BI, Excel, and various Microsoft tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related discipline

• Initial hands-on experience with Python; familiarity with PySpark is a plus

• Basic understanding of SQL

• Interest in data engineering, cloud technologies, and contemporary data platforms

• Initial exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Power BI is beneficial

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently

• Proactive, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about taking on responsibilities

• Strong organizational abilities and motivation to work autonomously from a home office

• Proficient in German (C1 level); proficiency in English is a plus
