Junior Data Analyst, Finance Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist the finance department by handling various ad hoc requests.

• Extract and prepare data utilizing SQL.

• Enhance and maintain current reporting and reconciliation scripts.

• Assess data quality and provide explanations of the results.

• Engage in research related to unit economics and plan-versus-actual analysis.

• Develop dashboards and data marts.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from finance, commercial, marketing, and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12 months of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a finance-related position involving hands-on data work. Internships are included.

• Proficient SQL skills, covering joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations, and data quality assessments.

• Familiarity with at least one BI tool; we employ Tableau and Metabase.

• Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in lookup and array functions, pivot tables, and charts.

• Knowledge of essential business metrics such as GMV, ARPU, margin, conversion, and revenue.

• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

• Capability to work within the GMT+3 time zone.

• Python skills for data analysis (pandas, numpy, plotly, seaborn, matplotlib) — a plus.

• An interest in finance, including P&L, cost structure, and unit economics, or a relevant degree — a plus.

• Practical experience with AI tools, such as agents, to enhance work efficiency — a plus.
