Junior Creator Publicist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Director of PR & Marketing to implement publicity strategies across the creator roster.

• Propose story ideas, arrange interviews, and cultivate relationships with media personnel.

• Assist in drafting and refining press releases, media alerts, and pitch letters.

• Handle incoming interview requests and organize schedules.

• Ensure that creators are well-prepared for media engagements.

• Oversee creator event calendars and aid in securing brand events, red carpet appearances, and industry activations.

• Provide support in event planning, guest list coordination, on-site event management, and awards submissions.

• Monitor, gather, and report on media coverage for creators and the agency.

• Develop, maintain, and update media contact lists, schedules, and publicity trackers.

• Partner with creators and cross-functional teams to ensure publicity initiatives operate seamlessly.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in public relations or publicity, ideally within an agency setting.

• Experience collaborating with creators, influencers, talent, or public figures.

• Strong grasp of the media landscape and effective story pitching techniques.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.

• Familiarity with Muck Rack or other media databases and monitoring tools is advantageous.

• A passion for influencer marketing, digital media, and the creator economy is a plus.

• Experience in coordinating interviews, media appearances, or live events is a plus.
