This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assist in the configuration of Workday Payroll elements, which include pay components, earnings/deductions, and accumulations.

• Support payroll testing efforts, involving parallel runs and reconciliation checks.

• Prepare and sustain project documentation, configuration workbooks, and training resources.

• Aid in data validation and resolve payroll issues during testing and hypercare phases.

• Participate in client workshops and calls, document notes, and follow up on action items.

• Provide assistance with year-end processing tasks and statutory reporting support for the UK and Ireland.

• Develop an understanding of client business requirements and convert them into system configurations.

• Collaborate with the broader delivery team across HR and finance workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some familiarity with payroll processes, whether in-house, bureau, or consulting.

• Experience with payroll in Ireland is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Irish PAYE, PRSI, and USC is essential.

• An interest in HR systems or payroll technology is highly regarded.

• Proficient Excel skills and general comfort with data handling are required.

• A degree or equivalent experience in a related field is desirable but not mandatory.

• A willingness to learn and a keen interest in payroll and systems consulting.

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to data verification.

• A confident communicator who is comfortable asking questions and receiving guidance.

• Organized and capable of managing multiple small tasks throughout a project.

• A team player who can work collaboratively in a client-facing environment.
