Junior Consultant – Consulting, Risk Management, Computational Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in navigating challenges related to trading and risk management, financial engineering, and data analytics.

• Play a role in developing an end-user application designed for the automated management of trading transactions.

• Contribute to the enhancement of power plant operational efficiency.

• Assess renewable energy assets, batteries, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

• Establish a data analysis platform for evaluating market risk metrics.

• Embrace early responsibilities in engaging client projects.

• Utilize downtime between projects for professional growth or to advance the Python package RiVaPy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in a quantitatively focused discipline or two years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience in programming.

• Capability to articulate results in a clear and comprehensible manner.

• A strong desire and enthusiasm for learning new topics and tackling challenges.

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.

• Skills in dart throwing may be considered an advantage.
