Junior Cloud Security Validation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain automated test scripts utilizing Java (Selenide or Selenium) for web applications.

• Work in collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams to grasp evolving requirements and guarantee sufficient test coverage.

• Design, implement, and execute automated test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of web applications.

• Identify, prioritize, and document defects, collaborating with development teams to facilitate resolution.

• Engage in test planning, estimation, and review discussions.

• Continuously enhance and refactor automation test suites for improved speed, stability, and maintainability.

• Prioritize testing efforts when faced with limited time and resources.

• Stay updated on trends in test automation, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity.

• Conduct mostly automation testing (80%) with a portion of manual testing (20%).

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial (paid, professional) experience as an AQA Engineer or in a similar position.

• Strong expertise in Java.

• Familiarity with Selenide or Selenium WebDriver.

• Basic knowledge of OOP principles.

• Experience in creating and executing automated test suites for web applications.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup setting.

• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent tasks and adjusting priorities without compromising quality.
