Junior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage legal matters of lower complexity

• Examine documents and prepare legal pleadings

• Assist in overseeing judicial and administrative processes

• Aid the legal team in legislative research and analysis of case law

• Help in drafting reports and formulating legal opinions

• Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain the technical quality of casework

• Provide preliminary client support under supervision

• Analyze contracts, legal documents, and judicial settlements with guidance

• Draft initial petitions, defenses, appeals, and other procedural documents under the oversight of Mid-Level or Senior Attorneys

• Collect pertinent information for case management and counsel clients on legal procedures

• Contribute to the firm's organization and efficiency as well as the quality of legal outputs

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)

• Minimum of 6 months of experience through an internship or practical work at a law firm or legal department

• Understanding of civil and procedural law

• Proficiency in legal research

• Skills in legal writing and drafting pleadings

• Competence in deadline and case management

• Strong negotiation abilities

• Adherence to professional ethics
