Junior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Under supervision, review and assess contracts, legal documents, and court settlements, evaluating pertinent clauses and terms to enhance clients’ positions and reduce risks in instances of default;

• Draft and prepare complaints, answers, appeals, and other procedural documents under the guidance of mid-level or senior attorneys, ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines and formal requirements;

• Conduct initial consultations with clients, collecting essential information for case management and offering insights on legal procedures;

• Manage legal matters of low complexity;

• Assist in monitoring judicial and administrative processes;

• Perform legislative research and analyze relevant case law;

• Aid in the preparation of reports and legal opinions;

• Contribute to the firm’s organizational efficiency and enhance the quality of legal deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);

• A minimum of 6 months of experience obtained through an internship or practical work at a law firm or legal department;

• Understanding of civil and procedural law;

• Proficient legal research abilities;

• Familiarity with legal writing and drafting procedural documents;

• Competence in case and deadline management;

• Strong negotiation skills;

• Adherence to professional ethics.
