This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Evaluate machine-translated content in Czech.

• Edit content in accordance with established guidelines.

• Verify that the content is accurate and understandable within the fields of mechanical engineering and robotics.

• If shortlisted, complete a linguistic skills assessment lasting between 30 minutes to 1 hour using the memoQ CAT tool or memoQWeb.

• Include a paragraph in your application detailing your qualifications for the role.

• Willingness to engage with AI-driven workflows and assess machine-translated and large language model-generated translations.

• Dependability and meticulousness; capable of thoroughly reviewing and adhering to workflow guidelines.

• Proficient in English, with a minimum proficiency level of C1.

• Native proficiency in Czech.

• Knowledge in mechanical engineering or robotics; students and entry-level professionals are encouraged to apply.

• Adaptability to new technologies, tools, and workflows.

• Capability to provide constructive feedback for enhancing processes and workflows.

• Must use a Windows operating system.

• Mac users must have software that allows for the genuine operation of Windows OS alongside macOS.

• Familiarity with CAT tools is advantageous.

• Previous experience in machine translation post-editing is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Initially assigned to a single client and a specific domain corresponding to your expertise.
