Junior AI-Driven Software Engineer, .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create backend functionalities using .NET

• Manage APIs and support system integration efforts

• Produce clean, testable code and develop unit tests with guidance from mentors

• Utilize AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and technical research

• Engage in code reviews, internal workshops, and technical presentations

• Investigate bugs and analyze logs

• Work collaboratively with seasoned developers

• Validate AI-generated solutions prior to their implementation

• Develop document management software to support clinical research

• Take part in technical interviews and practical problem-solving involving .NET, C#, APIs, and AI tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience

• Solid understanding of C# and a desire to advance within the .NET / ASP.NET Core framework

• Practical experience showcased through personal projects, a GitHub account, or professional exposure

• Basic knowledge of backend development, Web API, Entity Framework, and databases

• Familiarity with Git and the capability to read and enhance existing code

• Hands-on skills with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Gemini for debugging, research, and automation purposes

• Awareness of AI limitations, including issues like hallucinations, data security, privacy, and the need for verification

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or above

• Excellent communication abilities, self-sufficiency, curiosity, and openness to constructive feedback

• Active GitHub profile or a portfolio of applications

• Basic understanding of SQL and database optimization techniques

• Initial experience in writing unit tests

• Strong interest in automation of work processes and productivity tools

• Commitment to ongoing self-improvement and a problem-solving attitude
