Junior Accounting Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage and monitor vendor invoice processing

• Assist in the daily operations of Accounts Payable

• Facilitate the collection of information and document requests from auditors, tax advisors, and other external consultants

• Aid in the preparation and submission of state, regulatory, and other mandatory compliance documents

• Maintain compliance calendars and oversee upcoming requirements

• Help ensure critical reporting and regulatory deadlines are adhered to

• Keep accurate, complete, organized, and audit-ready accounting and compliance documentation

• Contribute to accounting and compliance projects, process enhancements, and other assigned tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, compliance, or a similar professional environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining accurate and thorough records

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet set deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders

• Experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, regulatory compliance, or audit assistance

• Background in coordinating documentation or information requests with auditors, tax advisors, consultants, or other external partners

• Understanding of compliance calendars, regulatory filings, or deadline-driven financial processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Interest in enhancing processes

• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of accounting operations, compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements

• Collaborative, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks
