This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policies.

• Examine billing details, customer information, and contract data for accuracy.

• Maintain up-to-date customer account records within financial and billing systems.

• Follow up on outstanding receivables to enhance cash flow and minimize aging balances.

• Address customer billing inquiries effectively.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to resolve any billing discrepancies and payment challenges.

• Provide backup assistance for vendor invoice or payment inquiries.

• Generate AR aging analyses, cash collection reports, and other financial reports for management.

• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, revenue checks, and variance analyses.

• Offer cross-functional support for accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor inquiries, and payment runs.

• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting workflows and improve data accuracy.

• Support the implementation and adoption of tools and automation.

• Utilize Procurify’s platform in daily activities and provide feedback for product and process enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the SaaS sector.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional context.

• Demonstrated curiosity and initiative.

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Willingness to learn accounting and CRM systems, such as Sage Intacct and Salesforce.

• Openness to learning automation and AI tools, including Claude and Gemini.

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• Interest in advancing a career within a collaborative and fast-paced finance team.

• A professional and up-to-date LinkedIn profile.

• Must possess Canadian work status: Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Open Work Permit, or Closed Work Permit.
