
Junior Account Manager, Corporate Travel & MICE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for the strategic acquisition of new business and the enhancement of existing customer relationships, with a particular emphasis on MICE in the Western and Northern areas.
• Develop, oversee, and strategically expand MICE accounts as well as select corporate travel clients for the BWH Hotels portfolio across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Central Europe.
• Create and execute sales initiatives aimed at boosting revenue, increasing market share, and fostering customer loyalty.
• Evaluate market conditions, competitors, and customer potential to inform targeted sales actions.
• Establish and nurture a robust network of companies, event planners, agencies, and other pertinent business partners.
• Conduct regular client visits and sales trips, representing BWH Hotels at trade fairs, workshops, and industry events.
• Collaborate closely with clients, partner hotels, and internal teams to effectively develop corporate and particularly MICE business opportunities.
• Completed vocational training or a degree in hospitality, hotel management, gastronomy, or tourism.
• Ideally, some initial professional experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
• Strong sales aptitude, a results-oriented and closing-focused mindset, along with enthusiasm for new business development.
• Solid comprehension of market opportunities and the capacity to successfully cultivate customer potential.
• Independent, organized working style, proactive initiative, and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a passion for networking.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Confident user of Microsoft 365.
• Willing to travel within the designated sales territory.
• Ideally located in Lower Saxony or Northern Germany; applications from other regions are also encouraged.
• Prepared to submit compelling application documents and provide gross salary expectations along with the earliest possible start date.
