This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Oversee a small portfolio of customer accounts that are either low-complexity or in development, with support from a Senior Account Manager.
• Assist in achieving revenue targets for assigned accounts while contributing to the overall sales objectives of the region.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of CRM data, including customer activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Aid in the preparation of quotes, monitoring orders, and supporting fundamental commercial activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers regarding routine matters such as orders, status updates, and basic inquiries.
• Foster working relationships with customer contacts to enhance ongoing account engagement.
• Cultivate an understanding of customer needs, applications, and business processes.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams.
• Collaborate with inside sales, technical services, and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate responses to customer queries and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Assist in resolving routine customer issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
• Facilitate the introduction of products within assigned accounts through follow-up and coordination with customers.
• Help gather customer input for product development and enhancements.
• Engage in customer discussions regarding product usage and applications.
• Support the execution of account plans created by Senior Account Managers.
• Identify basic growth opportunities within assigned accounts and escalate them as needed.
• Gain insight into account planning, pricing, and commercial decision-making processes.
• Assist with order tracking, demand alignment, and communication of customer needs.
• Aid in the coordination of urgent orders and basic forecasting activities.
• Learn processes related to planning, inventory, and customer supply requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
• Clearly communicate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate more complex issues to senior team members.
• Participate in customer meetings and internal reviews to enhance commercial and technical knowledge.
• Assist in preparing for customer visits, presentations, and reviews.
• Adhere to company policies regarding pricing, commercial terms, and customer interactions.
• Raise any risks or concerns regarding customer satisfaction or account performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is required.
• 0-2 years of experience in sales, account management, or related commercial/technical roles (internships or relevant experience are acceptable).
• Proficiency in Italian and English is required.
• German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and across Europe (approximately 20–30%).
