Joinery Drafter, AutoCAD, Mozaik

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive cabinetry and joinery drawings utilizing CAD software.

• Convert and transfer CAD drawings into manufacturing and nesting software.

• Develop precise plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.

• Generate manufacturing-ready drawings for bespoke cabinetry projects.

• Prepare cabinet layouts along with dimensions and specifications.

• Produce cutting information and documentation appropriate for automated production.

• Review architectural plans, client drawings, measurements, and project specifications.

• Ensure that drawings accurately represent the approved design and site requirements.

• Identify any missing information, inconsistencies, or potential manufacturing issues prior to production.

• Revise drawings based on feedback from leadership, project teams, or clients.

• Maintain precise and organized drawing files and project documentation.

• Collaborate closely with the Australian team to ensure drawings are completed accurately and on time.

• Assist in both residential and commercial joinery projects as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience as a Joinery Drafter, Cabinetry Drafter, or Production Detailer.

• Proficient knowledge of CAD drafting software.

• Hands-on experience with specialized cabinet manufacturing software.

• Proven ability to draft in CAD software and accurately transfer drawings into manufacturing programs.

• Solid understanding of cabinetry construction, joinery techniques, and manufacturing processes.

• Capability to interpret architectural drawings, plans, measurements, and specifications.

• Experience in preparing detailed, production-ready joinery drawings.

• Strong knowledge of dimensions, materials, hardware, and cabinet components.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of drafting accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete drawings within set deadlines.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

• Prior experience with an Australian cabinetry or joinery business.

• Familiarity with Australian joinery standards and construction terminology.

• Experience in preparing drawings or files for automated manufacturing equipment.

• Knowledge of hardware and materials from leading international suppliers.

• Experience in both residential and commercial joinery.

• Understanding of cabinetry production, panel cutting, edging, and assembly processes.

• Experience in 3D modeling would be a plus.
