Commissioning Agent, Mechanical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver commissioning services through both off-site development tasks and on-site physical verification activities.

• Utilize cloud-based commissioning technology and software.

• Create comprehensive functional performance test procedures.

• Participate in commissioning meetings and related discussions, lead meetings, and document minutes.

• Complete onsite commissioning documentation and identify any deficiencies.

• Act as a representative for VSC Group during commissioning site meetings.

• Provide updates on progress status.

• Identify tasks that contractors are required to complete.

• Address inquiries from contractors and client/owner representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a Mechanical Engineering degree or a diploma/degree in Technologist/Technician in a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in MEP construction, commissioning, and project management.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Project.

• Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Aptitude to respond thoughtfully and effectively in sensitive situations.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.

• Willingness to travel throughout Alberta to provide commissioning services as required.

• Frequent travel is necessary.
