This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct several home visit appointments each day, spanning 3 to 4 days per week, acting as both an expert and buyer.
• Travel to clients’ residences nationwide, with travel times aimed to be within 2 hours.
• Provide assessments and offers for clients’ jewelry, antiques, and collectibles.
• Engage with customers in a professional, informative, and respectful manner.
• Make purchase proposals and negotiate when necessary.
• Clarify why certain items may not be eligible for purchase.
• Occasionally participate in regular buying roadshow events as an expert and buyer.
• Strong interest in gold, jewelry, silver, cameras, binoculars, toys, costume jewelry, writing instruments, militaria, music or movie memorabilia, or related vintage specialties.
• Experience in buying and/or selling antiques, collectibles, and jewelry as a dealer or appraiser in an auction environment.
• Proven experience in buying and/or selling antiques, collectibles, gold, and jewelry.
• A keen and commercially astute salesperson and negotiator.
• Highly personable, approachable, and trustworthy.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating customer relationships.
• Confident negotiator with strong commercial insight.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel longer distances and stay away from home when required by location.
