Java Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, development, and execution of scalable and dependable software systems utilizing Java.

• Architect and construct multi-service applications that leverage AWS cloud services.

• Influence technical decisions, establish engineering best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Guide and mentor engineering teams, offering technical advice and fostering professional growth.

• Design and oversee solutions involving IoT platforms, real-time data processing, and telemetry systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

• Manage application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Recognize technical challenges and facilitate their resolution through effective engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven history of delivering scalable and reliable systems.

• More than 6 years of hands-on experience with AWS and the development of multi-service architectures.

• Essential hands-on experience with IoT platforms and technologies.

• At least 5 years in technical leadership or lead developer positions.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing, mentoring, or guiding engineering teams.

• Over 2 years of experience working with IoT platforms, real-time data systems, or telemetry processing.

• Strong programming skills in Java.

• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based, distributed applications.

• Excellent technical problem-solving abilities and team leadership skills.

• Must-have skills: Java, Internet of Things (IoT), AWS, Technical Leadership, Distributed Systems.

• Good-to-have skills: Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Real-Time Data Processing, Telemetry Processing, Cloud-Native Development.
