Java Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, build, and sustain robust, scalable full-stack applications utilizing Java technologies.

• Develop backend logic and integrate with Oracle and DB2 relational databases.

• Design and manage API integrations to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.

• Create and oversee message brokering systems using tools such as MQ for dependable asynchronous communication.

• Utilize Maven and Eclipse IDE to enhance development workflows.

• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate within a global network of expertise to tackle complex engineering challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of demonstrated experience in Full Stack Java development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and/or IBM DB2.

• Proven experience in implementing message brokers such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

• Proficient with the Spring framework or similar enterprise Java frameworks.

• Extensive experience with Eclipse IDE and Maven or other build automation tools.

• Strong understanding and practical experience in designing, developing, and utilizing APIs.

• Proven experience working within an Agile software development environment.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants is preferred.

• High-performance mindset, including resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.

• Deep understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.
