Java Full-Stack Developer, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise systems utilizing Java technology, ensuring adherence to quality, performance, security, and compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Execute corrective, adaptive, evolutionary, and preventive maintenance for information systems.

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents and issues across development, staging, and production environments.

• Engage in defining and implementing technical solutions that align with the architectural standards set by the CLIENT.

• Create and sustain APIs, microservices, and integrations between both internal and external systems.

• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and apply best practices in software engineering.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation pertaining to the developed solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and activities, contributing to the planning and execution of deliveries.

• Assist in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing activities, ensuring the quality of solutions provided.

• Evaluate application performance, scalability, and observability.

• Support technology modernization, refactoring, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

• Advocate for component reuse, standardization of solutions, and the minimization of technical debt.

• Collaborate with analysts, architects, support teams, infrastructure, information security, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to the technical, methodological, and operational specifications outlined in the contract.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 6 (six) years of experience in developing web applications using Java technologies.

• Familiarity with Agile development principles and methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP).

• Knowledge of design patterns and enterprise application architecture.

• Proficient in developing REST APIs and system integrations.

• Experience with Angular.

• Background in microservices architecture.

• Proficiency with source code version control systems.

• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting production environments.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

• Experience in application observability and monitoring techniques.

• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, or GitHub.

• Proficient in Java 8 or later.

• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.

• Knowledge of Oracle databases.

• Experience with SmartGWT (preferred).

• Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate (preferred).

• Experience with Maven or Gradle (preferred).

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).

• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar (preferred).

• Familiarity with SonarQube (preferred).

• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger (preferred).

• Experience in cloud computing (preferred).
