This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

• Design, develop, and sustain Java microservices utilizing Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.

• Create and integrate REST/SOAP services along with Kafka-based messaging solutions.

• Enhance SQL queries and ensure optimal performance on Oracle Database.

• Participate in core banking transformation and legacy modernization projects.

• Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.

• Maintain high availability, resilience, and compliance with regulations across distributed systems.

• Modernize and support essential services for a premier banking platform.

• Implement new features, decrease technical debt, and guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise Java development (Java 11/17+).

• Extensive knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Demonstrated experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Practical experience with JPA/Hibernate and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Expertise in Kafka (or equivalent messaging systems) and tuning performance for Oracle Database.

• Strong understanding of core banking architecture, integration patterns, and high-availability designs.

• Experience in production-critical financial environments and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficient in English.

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

• Familiarity with core banking platforms such as Oracle FLEXCUBE, Temenos T24, Finacle, Mambu, or Thought Machine is advantageous.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.

• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design, automated testing, and ISO 20022/SWIFT standards is desirable.

• Background in core banking migration or transformation initiatives is preferred.
