Senior Developer, C# / .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold dependable .NET software components throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.

• Take proactive ownership of complex platform components.

• Ensure platform components are resilient, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented.

• Utilize engineering judgment across architecture, design, implementation, testing, and operational aspects.

• Collaborate with trading, product, architecture, infrastructure, and partner technology teams.

• Construct a greenfield fixed income electronic trading platform utilizing AWS and modern .NET technologies.

• Enhance engineering standards, including test automation, observability, secure coding, CI/CD, and release management.

• Facilitate electronic trading and pricing workflows.

• Maintain live production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and enhance reliability, monitoring, and operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

• Significant experience in designing, developing, and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services in production.

• In-depth knowledge of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and distributed system design.

• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, covering data modeling, performance considerations, and operational support.

• Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

• Established history in designing and delivering API-driven service-oriented or microservice architectures.

• Familiarity with automated unit, integration, and behavior-driven testing using tools like NUnit, Moq, and Cucumber.

• Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures utilizing RabbitMQ, TIBCO, SignalR, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and version control tools such as Git and TeamCity or equivalent.

• Experience working in Agile delivery teams and refining the software lifecycle.

• Background in supporting live production systems, troubleshooting incidents, and improving reliability, monitoring, and operational readiness.

• Advanced English proficiency (required).

• Spanish language skills are a plus.
