Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and improve Java solutions, encompassing business logic and graphical user interface components.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Engage in code reviews and participate in unit and integration testing.

• Work with SQL and DB2, handling complex queries and optimizing them.

• Utilize Git and assist with CI/CD processes utilizing Jenkins.

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges and defects.

• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

• Investigate and incorporate AI-assisted development tools into daily tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust professional experience as a Java Developer.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL and familiarity with DB2.

• Proficiency in Git, JUnit, and Jenkins.

• Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies.

• Interest in or hands-on experience with AI-assisted development.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously and take initiative.

• Experience in Agile work environments.

• Candidates must reside in Portugal.
