Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications utilizing Java/J2EE technologies.

• Enhance and create RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components.

• Convert business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Produce clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code in accordance with development standards.

• Diagnose application issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, debugging, deployment, and application support tasks.

• Collaborate with databases and create or optimize SQL queries as necessary.

• Work alongside business analysts, architects, QA, DevOps, and support teams.

• Assist in application integration with both internal and external systems.

• Keep technical documentation up-to-date and comply with coding, quality, and security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.

• Knowledge of Git or similar version-control systems.

• Comprehension of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant practical experience in Java application development and support.
