This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a member of the development team, undertaking development tasks during each Sprint.
• Engage in a variety of software development activities, such as requirements analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Prioritize product quality and maintainability in all tasks.
• Take ownership of your work and immediately communicate any delays or obstacles to the team.
• Design and enhance features for a solution that is utilized daily by thousands of users in large enterprises.
• A bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related Information Technology field.
• Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a focus on Information Technology.
• Familiarity with financial systems development.
• Understanding of agile development principles and practices, such as the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, XP, and Kanban.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Experience in configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Acquainted with the analysis and specification of functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.
• Awareness of design patterns, programming best practices, and enterprise systems integration.
• Proficient in microservices architecture and development, APIs, tracing, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.
• Experience in development using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Skilled in migrating monolithic systems to microservices.
• Expertise in relational data modeling and SQL.
• Understanding of layered architecture, three-tier architecture, and MVC.
• Experience in developing responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
• Capable of systems integration using messaging, JMS, Web Services, REST, SOA, EJB 3, and related technologies.
• Experience with Java Swing development and Java for the Web utilizing JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, Spring, JSF, JPA, and Struts.
• Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere, and Liberty; knowledge of Quarkus framework.
• Understanding of multi-tenancy application architecture.
• Proficient in Linux, SonarQube, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.
• Skilled in JavaScript/ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.
• Knowledge of UX and usability principles.
• Experience in software testing and automation using JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.
• Proficient in building mocks/stubs, refactoring, TDD, ATDD, as well as continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
• Familiarity with reverse engineering and CMT transaction management.
• Knowledge of MUMPS programming, Caché database, OpenVMS, and/or Linux.
• Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.
• Experience in Delphi programming, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like solutions.
• Skilled in development with ISO 8583 message routing.
• Familiarity with financial technologies such as J/XFS and integration with banking automation peripherals.
• Experience with cryptography.
• Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer, CSD, and PSD.
