Java Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a core Java backend developer alongside other team members.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Application/Technical Architects, and Business Analysts to design effective solutions.

• Create application services and ensure their integration with the frontend.

• Engage in requirements discussions, team meetings, technical sessions, and reviews.

• Adhere to and execute best practices in design and coding.

• Integrate development efforts with the frontend to guarantee comprehensive functionality.

• Rigorously test software to ensure it is free of defects.

• Conduct research and develop proofs of concept.

• Present demos and presentations to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MVC, Design Patterns, and JUnit.

• Proficient experience with AWS / Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with developing microservices using SOAP and/or RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON.

• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

• Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

• Experience in projects utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge or experience in reactive programming.

• Knowledge or experience with Spring Security.

• Knowledge or experience with Spring Cloud.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like Angular.

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• BE / MSc is preferred.

• Any professional certifications are a plus.
