This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a member of the development team, engaging in tasks for execution during each Sprint.
• Carry out software development tasks with an emphasis on quality and maintainability, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee your own workload and promptly inform the team of any delays or obstacles encountered.
• Create and sustain robust, scalable financial systems utilized by thousands of users.
• Design and implement microservices, APIs, enterprise integrations, and layered/MVC applications.
• Execute continuous integration and delivery, adopt DevOps methodologies, automate testing, refactor code, and facilitate continuous deployment.
• Utilize Docker containers and Kubernetes while transitioning monolithic systems to microservices.
• Develop responsive user interfaces and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
• Construct SQL queries, model relational data, and implement transactional management solutions.
• Innovate financial solutions that involve messaging, ISO 8583, J/XFS, cryptography, and integration with hardware peripherals.
• A bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or another related Information Technology discipline; or a bachelor’s degree in any field with a focus on Information Technology.
• Preferred certifications: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), CSD – Certified Scrum Developer, and PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.
• Proven experience in developing financial systems.
• Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery as well as DevOps practices.
• Proficient with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Knowledge and experience in configuration and change management utilizing ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Competence in analyzing and specifying functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.
• Acquainted with design patterns, programming best practices, and enterprise systems integration.
• Experience with microservices, tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Java/JEE/JSE, Java 8+, MicroProfile, Spring, JSF, JPA, Struts, Quarkus, and application servers such as JBoss/WebSphere/Liberty.
• Understanding of JavaScript, ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.
• Familiarity with software testing and automation using JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.
• Acquainted with Linux and/or OpenVMS, SonarQube, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.
• Skills in MUMPS, Caché, Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like solutions.
• Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.
• Experience with ISO 8583, financial technologies J/XFS, cryptography, and peripheral integration.
