Japanese Account Manager – Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison with internal business partners to collect project requirements and execute strategies.

• Evaluate business strategies and objectives while facilitating the creative process.

• Oversee account team operations, ensuring client satisfaction and effective cross-functional process management.

• Supervise creative execution from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to strategy, timelines, budgets, brand guidelines, and legal standards.

• Provide support to Sales and Marketing, Owner Services, Legal, and external Marketing and Sales partners.

• Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales teams across North America and APAC.

• Develop marketing and sales materials and communications in both English and Japanese.

• Coordinate with translators, photographers, digital marketing agencies, direct mail houses, and other external vendors.

• Create content and manage direct mail and email campaigns.

• Incorporate Japanese translations into sales center technology following English updates.

• Generate and update Japanese owner communications, including guides, welcome emails, and owner letters.

• Collaborate with the training and development department to produce Japanese Sales and Marketing materials.

• Obtain briefs and document project requirements effectively.

• Align stakeholders prior to project commencement.

• Develop project plans, establish milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.

• Provide updates on high-profile project timelines and statuses to senior leadership.

• Identify requests that necessitate higher-level brand input.

• Monitor service-level agreement outcomes.

• Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of customer communications.

• Execute communication strategies through established departmental processes.

• Foster relationships across functional teams.

• Manage project schedule templates within the workflow system.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in advertising agency account management, in-house communications, project management, or a related field is required.

• Experience in process development and management is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English is a must.

• Native Japanese speaker or native-level fluency required, including reading, writing, speaking, and translating Japanese.

• Experience in creating materials across print, video, and digital mediums is preferable.

• Background in marketing or sales is a plus.

• Ability to comprehend business strategies to formulate a project and action plan.

• Willingness to travel occasionally is required.

• Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, involving various operational units.

• Bachelor's Degree is necessary.

• Ability to collaborate with Global Brand Strategy & Creative Delivery to produce owner testimonial videos and arrange essential Japanese-language materials.
