This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide leadership for secure, reliable, and scalable technology operations that support clinical research sites and remote work environments.
• Design, implement, and manage switching, wireless networks, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, enhance, and deploy network infrastructure at new sites.
• Ensure network availability and performance through segmentation, monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, documentation, and business continuity planning.
• Oversee network vendors, contracts, licensing, budgets, hardware lifecycle planning, and operational performance metrics.
• Manage and enhance Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive services.
• Lead device provisioning and lifecycle management utilizing Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
• Design, implement, and govern AI-driven automation and workflows for IT operations.
• Ensure proper deployment and adoption of enterprise AI solutions such as ChatGPT and CoPilot.
• Act as Technical Lead for infrastructure, network, cloud, clinical-site expansion, and technology refresh projects.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk-management plans, communications, capacity management, and status reports.
• Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain IT professionals.
• Establish objectives, service expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
• Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused culture.
• Operate IT services in accordance with security policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and risk-management practices.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal teams on audits, access reviews, vulnerability remediation, investigations, and protection of sensitive information.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Proven experience in supporting geographically distributed environments and managing enterprise networks, Microsoft cloud services, endpoint platforms, and complex technology initiatives.
• Strong skills in communication, vendor management, budgeting, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in implementing AI-driven automation and workflows with appropriate security, data governance, reliability, and business value considerations.
• Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory, ITSM platforms, scripting, workflow automation, and AI-enabled operations tools is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco/Meraki, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, networking, operations, or service delivery, including at least three years of experience in technical team leadership.
• Five or more years of experience in an IT management or technical leadership role.
• This position is remote within the United States.
