IT System Administrator – Automic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and application owners to comprehend automation requirements and convert them into scalable solutions.

• Provide support for SAP R/3 4.7 job schedules, Informatica OS command lines, and enterprise application teams through dependable scheduling and integration services.

• Work together with global teams to guarantee continuity and alignment between STS and MTS environments.

• Propel continuous enhancement of automation processes and workflows.

• Investigate modern authentication, security, and integration improvements.

• Recognize opportunities to optimize job scheduling, minimize manual effort, and enhance platform efficiency.

• Deliver and sustain enterprise scheduling and automation capabilities utilizing Automic (UC4).

• Support comprehensive automation, inclusive of SAP jobs, Informatica workflows, and file-based integrations.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of automation platforms that support critical business processes.

• Administer and support Automic (UC4) v24.x environments.

• Configure workflows, schedules, and dependencies.

• Manage Automation Engine, Agents, and Service Manager components.

• Install and configure systems on both Windows and Linux platforms.

• Troubleshoot job failures and system issues.

• Oversee users, roles, and security within Automic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.

• Over 7 years of directly relevant work experience.

• Alternatively, 15+ years of related experience in lieu of formal education.

• Practical experience with the Automic (UC4) platform.

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux scripting.

• Experience in SAP job scheduling and Informatica workflows.

• Expertise in Automic RAFTP, SFTP, PGP encryption, and file interfaces.

• Knowledge of Oracle SQL for troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with LDAP, SSO, and web-based interfaces such as AWI and Jetty.
