IT Solution Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the liaison between the business and IT, fostering relationships with functional leadership.

• Gain insights into business processes, challenges, metrics, and limitations to pinpoint where technology can add value.

• Create business cases that encompass problem identification, available options, costs, anticipated benefits, and associated risks.

• Gather and document business requirements, including process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria, and scope boundaries.

• Oversee assigned projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, plans, risks, dependencies, stakeholder communication, and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and vendor teams to design effective solutions.

• Assess build-or-buy decisions and engage in vendor selection processes.

• Set up delivery governance checkpoints and track milestones.

• Ensure that solution designs adhere to technical standards, security protocols, and performance objectives.

• Lead operational readiness, facilitate change enablement, and manage go-live transitions.

• Promote post-go-live adoption and monitor whether the anticipated benefits were achieved.

• Provide honest reports on benefit realization and delivery results.

• Develop prioritized technology roadmaps and secure buy-in from leadership.

• Support initiatives from conception through funding, requirements definition, technical delivery, and end-user adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, project or program management, and technology delivery roles that engage with business.

• Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.

• A successful history of securing funding and prioritization for initiatives.

• Strong discipline in gathering and managing requirements.

• Hands-on project management experience throughout the full lifecycle, particularly in Agile environments.

• Sufficient fluency in a business domain to engage effectively with functional leaders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in presenting to executive audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in consulting or professional services, especially in client-facing delivery roles.

• Familiarity with system implementations such as ERP, CRM, OMS, and BI.

• Knowledge of financial modeling for technology investments, including TCO, ROI, and benefit tracking.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CBAP, BRMP, or Scrum Master are highly desirable.
