IT Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Make informed technical decisions by evaluating end-to-end effects, historical data, and previous experiences.

• Take ownership of the development and design processes for assigned systems or components.

• Lead feature development initiatives with minimal oversight from senior engineering personnel.

• Drive the technical design, implementation, and reliability of CX orchestration platforms focused on AWS, Genesys Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud.

• Collaborate with product, QA, design, and engineering teams to develop technical solutions and establish delivery timelines.

• Participate in code review sessions.

• Create and manage technical documentation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical challenges.

• Provide foundational mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

• Support broader team initiatives while independently managing smaller project components.

• Communicate progress, obstacles, and risks to team leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• A minimum of 2 years dedicated to high-scale Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), CX enterprise software, or Field Services enterprise software.

• Proficiency in AWS Services and CI/CD pipelines for deploying cloud-native or CCaaS applications.

• Experience in designing and constructing dependable workflows and integrations within Salesforce.

• Advanced programming skills across various languages and frameworks.

• Strong grasp of system design and architectural principles.

• Proven track record in taking features from design through implementation and deployment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven approaches.

• Capacity to manage complex assignments with a moderate level of autonomy and periodic review.

• Effective collaboration within immediate team environments.

• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, especially for documentation and coordination across teams.

• A background check may be required due to regular access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer proprietary data.

• Qualified candidates with a history of arrest and conviction will be evaluated in accordance with local regulations and state laws.

• Must reside in the United States, excluding Alaska.
