IT Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee the investigation and resolution of intricate cybersecurity incidents

• Analyze and correlate security events from SIEM, IDS, EDR, antivirus, firewall, and proxy solutions

• Perform digital forensic investigations

• Provide expert advice throughout the incident response lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with Security and IT teams

• Assist in remediation efforts

• Enhance SOC procedures

• Contribute to the ongoing development of security capabilities

• Occasionally visit the Katowice office as needed for business or team requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in a SOC Analyst, Threat Hunter, Threat Researcher, or Incident Response position

• Practical experience in incident handling, alert management, and cybersecurity investigations

• Strong understanding of contemporary attack techniques, threat actors, and attack vectors

• Experience with digital forensics, host- and network-based investigations, memory analysis, and malware analysis

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to effectively manage multiple priorities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Occasional availability outside standard working hours during critical incidents
