IT Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver the IS security function by reviewing, planning, implementing, and managing security controls for the organization.

• Develop and sustain the organization’s Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.

• Create a robust security posture through policies, architecture, and training processes.

• Supervise the operations of the organization's security solutions.

• Collaborate with development and network colleagues and business-unit leaders to communicate the corporate security vision and encourage participation in enhancing enterprise security.

• Lead the selection of suitable security solutions.

• Manage vulnerability audits and assessments.

• Oversee the security exemption processes related to shared risks to company systems and data.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant additional experience in place of a degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security management or similar roles.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, finance, or information systems.

• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in information security management or related functions.

• Preferred: Information Security Management certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISM.

• Ability to work standard business hours, with occasional evenings or weekends for urgent matters or projects.
