IT Project Manager – TSA Carve-out, Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive execution of IT carve-out and TSA exit initiatives.

• Manage the separation and migration processes across applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, networks, security, and end-user services.

• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.

• Facilitate coordination among IT, business functions, external vendors, system integrators, and separation teams.

• Administer TSA-related deliverables and guarantee transition readiness prior to TSA expiration.

• Lead the migration of applications and data from legacy or parent-company environments to independent platforms.

• Oversee system decommissioning, access separation, and service transition activities.

• Ensure business continuity throughout the migration and separation processes.

• Manage cross-functional dependencies across various workstreams.

• Organize governance meetings, steering committees, and project status updates.

• Identify risks and obstacles, driving actions for mitigation and resolution.

• Assist with cutover planning, go-live activities, hypercare, and post-transition stabilization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT Project Management, ideally in large-scale transformation, separation, divestiture, or M&A initiatives.

• Demonstrated experience in managing TSA carve-outs, TSA exits, or IT separation projects.

• Proven track record in coordinating complex migrations of applications, infrastructure, data, and integrations.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, security, and cloud services.

• Experience managing multiple vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent skills in project planning, risk management, dependency management, and governance.

• Familiarity with cutover planning, migration, deployment, and hypercare activities.

• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication abilities across technical and business teams.

• Capacity to manage several workstreams in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is essential.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Must reside in Europe and possess the legal right to work in the country of residence.
