IT Project Manager – TSA Carve-out, Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery of IT carve-out and TSA exit initiatives.

• Supervise separation and migration tasks involving applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, networks, security, and end-user services.

• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.

• Coordinate activities among IT, business units, external vendors, system integrators, and separation teams.

• Manage TSA-related deliverables and ensure preparedness for transition prior to TSA expiration.

• Lead application and data migration efforts from legacy or parent-company environments to new standalone settings.

• Organize system decommissioning, access separation, and service transition tasks.

• Ensure business continuity throughout migration and separation processes.

• Handle cross-functional dependencies across various workstreams.

• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and project status updates.

• Identify risks and obstacles, and drive mitigation and resolution strategies.

• Assist in cutover planning, go-live activities, hypercare, and post-transition stabilization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT Project Management, ideally within large-scale transformation, separation, divestiture, or M&A initiatives.

• Demonstrated experience managing TSA carve-outs, TSA exits, or IT separation projects.

• Experience in coordinating complex migrations of applications, infrastructure, data, and integrations.

• Strong knowledge of IT environments, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, security, CSV, and cloud services.

• Experience managing multiple vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams effectively.

• Proficient project planning, risk management, dependency management, and governance capabilities.

• Experience with cutover planning, migration, deployment, and hypercare initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and business teams.

• Strong delivery orientation with the capability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is essential.

• Proficiency in English is required.
