IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

• Oversee infrastructure-centric projects, including cloud and data center migrations.

• Organize, plan, and track work using Jira.

• Ensure clear backlogs, identify dependencies, manage risks, and maintain documentation.

• Collaborate with technical teams on cloud migrations, virtualization, monitoring/observability, servers, storage solutions, and data center projects.

• Bridge infrastructure teams with business units such as Cyber Security, Compliance, R&D, Sales, Services, and Technical Support.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement while minimizing distractions.

• Enhance transparency by reporting on workload drivers, incidents, disruptions, and team capacity.

• Align infrastructure activities with strategic roadmaps, operational priorities, and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Proven IT project management experience supporting infrastructure or operations teams.

• Extensive experience in Agile environments.

• First-level Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM I).

• Background in cloud and infrastructure migration projects.

• Knowledge of cloud environments, data centers, virtualization platforms, and monitoring/observability solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across global, multi-cultural teams and varying time zones.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

• High standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

• Preferred: experience with data center infrastructure teams and technologies.

• Preferred: experience in creating executive-level reports.

• Preferred: experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

• Preferred: familiarity with Scrumban methodology.

• Preferred: strong facilitation skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.

• Preferred: knowledge of AI-enabled solutions.
