IT Project Manager – AI, Clinical Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire delivery lifecycle of AI-powered products and features, from concept to production launch.

• Coordinate the milestones for model development, validation, deployment, data readiness, testing, and monitoring plans.

• Lead projects focused on the implementation and enhancement of clinical analytical solutions.

• Convert clinical and scientific requirements into executable project plans.

• Ensure that AI and clinical analytics projects comply with data privacy, data integrity, and regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, and HIPAA.

• Direct comprehensive IT projects encompassing scope, planning, resource allocation, budgeting, execution, and closure.

• Create and uphold project plans, schedules, RACI matrices, RAID logs, and status updates.

• Identify and manage project risks and issues, oversee budgets, forecasts, and vendor/contract responsibilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure, application development, data/analytics, and QA.

• Facilitate governance activities such as steering committee updates, change control, and stage-gate reviews.

• Ensure compliance with IT change management, validation, documentation, GxP, and SDLC standards.

• Manage relationships with vendors and system integrators, including SOWs and performance evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

• More than 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, including those related to infrastructure, applications, or data/analytics.

• Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.

• Proficient with project management tools like Smartsheet and Asana.

• Proven experience in managing AI or machine learning product initiatives from development to deployment.

• Familiarity with model validation, MLOps concepts, and responsible AI/data governance practices.

• Skilled in using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.

• Experience with clinical analytical solutions or platforms in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments.

• Knowledge of clinical data standards and systems, including EDC and CTMS.

• Experience in managing vendors and budgets.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with applications like Spotfire, Maxis AI, Veeva, and BOX is preferred.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
