This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Oversee infrastructure implementation projects from the planning phase to delivery, ensuring that all initiatives are completed punctually, within the defined scope, and in alignment with the organization's objectives.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to manage timelines, budgets, and technical resources to achieve successful project results.
β’ Provide project management for multiple simultaneous Infrastructure projects by creating realistic delivery and implementation plans with project resources.
β’ Ensure adherence to PMO best practices, standards, and frameworks throughout project execution.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive work breakdown structure of project milestones, deliverables, and tasks to ensure timely and budget-conscious task completion.
β’ Lead the communication of project scope, goals, and responsibilities to the project team.
β’ Establish clear expectations and engagement models for project sponsors and stakeholders, managing these throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Proactively lead and manage program tollgates, risks, issues, mitigation strategies, dependencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
β’ Supervise the work of technical personnel, including network, compute, and storage engineers, providing support and guidance as necessary to achieve objectives.
β’ Develop and maintain reporting protocols while monitoring performance in project control activities; prepare and disseminate reports related to project activities, health, risks, issues, and budget.
β’ Foster collaboration and accountability with Tower Leads, Service Managers, Global Operations personnel, and Suppliers to ensure infrastructure projects are developed and executed thoroughly and timely in alignment with business needs.
β’ A minimum of ten (10+) years of project management experience, including developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, and estimating size and effort for new deployment projects.
β’ Strong understanding of PMO, SDLC, and governance best practices.
β’ Ability to effectively implement project management methodologies and enforce project standards.
β’ Self-motivated individual capable of tackling complex projects with minimal oversight.
β’ Proficient in project management software tools as well as other productivity tools, including MS Office, Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
β’ Exceptional communication skills (interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written).
β’ Capability to drive complex project efforts to successful completion.
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
β’ Ability to offer competent and proactive leadership.
β’ Ability to forge cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners.
β’ Solid business acumen and sound judgment.
β’ Proficient in negotiation and influence across all organizational levels.
β’ Flexibility, interest, and capability to work in a fast-paced environment on mission-critical projects.
β’ Possess excellent technical aptitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure concepts and experience managing technology projects; knowledge of ITSM methodologies (e.g., ITIL) is desirable.
β’ Experience in an IT outsourcing environment and/or managing IT service provider(s).
β’ Experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies is a plus.
β’ PMP and/or Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
