IT Product Owner I, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of digital products

• Ensure that development is in line with business strategy and fulfills user requirements

• Gather insights from stakeholders, customers, and the market to define product features

• Convey the product vision to the development team

• Prioritize tasks and roadmap elements based on value and business objectives

• Serve as a role model for Agile practices and innovation

• Ensure that Agile rituals are conducted effectively

• Prepare new features for development alongside the Agile team and Volkswagen business partners

• Present new developments to colleagues and stakeholders, educating teams on the functionality of new features

• Motivate the team and stakeholders regarding the product vision and roadmap

• Gather requirements, perform user research, and analyze market demands

• Create and manage the roadmap and backlog, prioritizing in collaboration with business stakeholders

• Convert business needs into actionable requirements

• Support decisions with data and metrics

• Work with KPIs and OKRs

• Utilize monitoring tools, respond to failures, and promptly and transparently inform affected stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager

• Proven experience in delivering successful products, including defining vision, strategy, and outcome-focused product roadmaps, as well as creating and managing backlogs

• Familiarity with Agile environments and Scrum methodology (SAFe is advantageous)

• Experience in articulating and validating product hypotheses

• Proven ability to influence decision-making across various contexts

• Proficient in defining and prioritizing product features

• Experience working closely with engineers, designers, and business units

• Fluent in both English and German
