IT Portfolio Management Principal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement long-term portfolio strategies.

• Drive initiatives that enhance portfolio health, optimize value realization, improve capacity planning, and refine funding methods.

• Provide guidance to segment and enterprise leaders regarding portfolio management issues and foster continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Segment Portfolio leaders to pinpoint adoption challenges and areas for enhancement.

• Create, test, deploy, and expand innovative practices, tools, frameworks, and operational methodologies.

• Generate strategic recommendations and materials suitable for executive presentation.

• Promote alignment among business, technology, portfolio, and governance stakeholders.

• Spearhead or assist in enterprise portfolio transformation and operational excellence initiatives.

• Encourage the adoption of portfolio management practices through collaboration, coaching, effective communication, and leadership in change.

• Act as the portfolio integration lead for the Corporate, Strategy, and Operations Segment.

• Deliver a comprehensive overview of investments, priorities, risks, and outcomes.

• Enhance portfolio strategy, decision-making related to investments, organizational effectiveness, and maturity in portfolio management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in technical, business, portfolio management, transformation, or a related domain.

• Over 2 years of experience in supporting strategic initiatives, investment portfolios, or enterprise transformation projects.

• Proven experience in Portfolio Management and Investment Governance, including prioritization, portfolio planning, portfolio health, funding, and investment decision-making processes.

• Experience collaborating with senior leaders to formulate strategies, refine operating models, and enhance organizational capabilities.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines while navigating uncertainty and providing clarity.

• Proficient in effective communication and delivering presentations to senior leaders across Technology and the Enterprise.

• Advanced skills in facilitating complex stakeholder discussions, influencing decisions, and fostering alignment.

• Experience in creating executive recommendations, strategic roadmaps, frameworks, or enterprise-wide practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.

• A commitment to enhancing operational effectiveness and consumer experiences through improved ways of working.

• Must fulfill work-from-home internet requirements: a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Must work from a designated area free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.
