IT Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily IT operations encompassing service desk, infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and business applications.

• Administer incident, problem, request, and change management processes.

• Direct IT personnel and contractors, establish priorities, and promote accountability, customer-centricity, and continuous enhancement.

• Guarantee the reliability of networks, servers, cloud environments, endpoints, and essential systems through monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to uphold secure operations, address vulnerabilities, manage access, and fulfill compliance obligations.

• Relay outages, risks, and priorities to stakeholders while soliciting feedback.

• Manage vendor relations, performance metrics, procurement assistance, and contract execution.

• Monitor service availability, incidents, satisfaction levels, lifecycle status, and compliance with vulnerability metrics.

• Provide regular operational reports.

• Discover opportunities to modernize, automate, and enhance IT operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and evolving mission requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience with a focus on operational leadership.

• Experience in various IT domains within government or regulated sectors.

• Strong grasp of IT service management, cloud services, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure, and end-user support.

• Demonstrated experience in managing vendors and contractors effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills, particularly with non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

• US citizenship is not a requirement.

• Security clearance is not needed; no clearance currently held or obtainable.

• BI Full 6C (T4) public trust or other requirement.
