IT Manager – QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement QA governance, metrics, and automation strategies.

• Oversee testing operations among diverse teams and external vendors.

• Direct the design of test architecture and select appropriate tools.

• Relay risk assessments and quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership.

• Advocate for ongoing enhancements in QA processes and tools.

• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration on quality goals.

• Spearhead large-scale initiatives and strategic QA projects.

• Offer mentorship, supervision, and technical support to the QA team.

• Direct test strategy, planning, and execution for intricate projects or multiple teams.

• Develop and refine automation frameworks while ensuring their integration with CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform trend analysis and proactively tackle systemic quality challenges.

• Guide junior and mid-level QA personnel and deliver technical QA leadership.

• Establish and promote quality standards and best practices throughout the organization.

• Manage complex or specialized projects within a specific scope and discipline.

• Recognize potential business, operational, or regulatory issues and devise solutions.

• Execute all other responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Typically requires 8+ years of relevant work experience.
