This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily operations and provide support for enterprise data, analytics, reporting, integration, and cloud data platforms.
• Guarantee platform availability, performance, reliability, supportability, and scalability.
• Set up and track operational metrics, SLAs, KPIs, and service health dashboards.
• Manage incident response, problem management, root cause analysis, and operational recovery tasks.
• Supervise platform upgrades, patching, maintenance planning, release management, and environment governance.
• Apply operational best practices for observability, monitoring, resilience, and service management.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, regulatory, audit, and operational standards.
• Oversee demand intake, work prioritization, resource allocation, and operational planning.
• Develop governance frameworks, platform standards, documentation, controls, and operational procedures.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across supported platforms.
• Provide executive reporting and updates on operational performance.
• Lead and mentor engineers, administrators, platform specialists, and support staff.
• Set objectives, performance expectations, and career development plans for team members.
• Manage staffing, succession planning, professional development, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Forge partnerships with business leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholders.
• Act as the primary operational escalation point for platform-related matters and service enhancements.
• Communicate platform roadmaps, operational status, risks, and modernization updates to leadership.
• Assist in cloud transformation and data platform modernization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and enhance service efficiency.
• Develop operational analytics and performance reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
• Manage budgets, vendor expenditures, licensing costs, and operational expenses.
• Monitor resource utilization and allocation.
• Aid in business case development and planning for future platform improvements.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
• High school diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent GED is required.
• 6 years of experience in Information Technology supporting enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, integration, or data platform technologies.
• 2 years of experience in leadership or people management roles.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms.
• Strong comprehension of Data Integration and ETL technologies.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong familiarity with Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Strong understanding of Operational Governance and Compliance Controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to connect technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
• Capability to lead teams through context switching, shifting priorities, and large-scale IT projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Minimal travel required on an as-needed basis.
