This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver research assistance
• Evaluate information sources
• Create reports to aid in decision-making and provide technical support for clients and research recipients
• Analyze, assess, and offer expert guidance and consultation on public health research and evaluation
• Provide leadership and direction on critical and complex scientific issues
• Conduct intricate qualitative and quantitative analyses and interpret the findings
• Coordinate program evaluations and suggest enhancements
• Collaborate with implementation-related metrics and connect implementation variables to outcomes
• Analyze and synthesize mixed-methods data
• Deliver presentations, articulate and justify recommendations, represent the agency and designated program or project areas, offer guidance, advise program administrators and community stakeholders, respond to inquiries, and engage with high-ranking officials and public and private health organizations
• Assist in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of intramural and extramural programs
• Utilize Microsoft Office Applications and efficiently manage administrative systems
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned
• Capability to obtain, sustain, and access classified information at the Public Trust level
• Proficient in using data analysis and reporting tools/platforms, including Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, Power BI, MAXQDA, and internal or government-specific databases/platforms like the DPRP database
• Understanding of the principles, concepts, methods, and techniques related to public health research and evaluation
• Familiarity with principles, methods, applications, and cutting-edge technology relevant to the scientific area of responsibility
• Ability to conduct complex analytical studies utilizing qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpret the outcomes
• Experience with implementation-related metrics, including reach, fidelity, dose, and adaptation
• Proficient in analyzing mixed-methods data and integrating both qualitative and quantitative data
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and persuasive presentations
• Knowledge of regulations, procedures, and principles governing the development, monitoring, and evaluation of intramural and extramural programs
• Competency in using Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint
• Proficient in managing Administrative Systems, including HUMAN SUBJECTS, OMB AND IRB, and E-Clearance
• Prior experience navigating government procedures and guidelines
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Public Health
• Experience in a scientific research environment
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
